Snow Wedding

I don't always get the joy of meeting my clients before their big day. Most of the time I get the chance to meet them for coffee or chat it up during our engagement session, but every now and then, the stars don't align for that to happen. J and B currently live out of state, but were having their wedding in South Carolina. I was thrilled with J's mom asked me to photograph their big day.

Upon arrival, I was stunned at how beautiful their wedding venue was. I'll be honest, I've never photographed anything in Simpsonville, I've probably never even drove through this area, but wow. The barn was beautiful and the rolling green hills made for the perfect ceremony space.

The couple chose to have start with a first look, which is a great way to get the day started. J was absolutely gorgeous and just look at B's face. Once we finished with the first look, we got all of the bridal party photos finished up and moved right into the ceremony.

It was such a hot, humid day, but the breeze was amazing. The couple provided fans, which I think we all were using by the end of the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and right after, we moved the family to the barn for family photos.

We finished family photos, took a few more couple photos and moved right into the first dances. I think just about all of us teared up at the father daughter dance, it was really special.

Y'all, for dinner, the couple had a pizza bar. How fun! I love seeing new foods at a wedding. The couple spent the rest of the reception dancing away. Watching the ladies dance to Thriller might have been my favorite.

We finished the night up with a sparkler exit, which was perfect at sunset!

Ok, enough with the details, here are the beautiful images I captured of their big day.
