JAMIE & LARRY

I arrived at Jamie's home for a few photos with family, before heading over to the ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church. At the church, I met with Larry and his crew. And with just as much energy as the last group, we knocked some photos out, laughed and had a great time.

Jamie and Larry had a short and sweet ceremony (as short and sweet as Catholic weddings go), it was perfect. After the ceremony, we got in some quick family photos and headed off to 701 Whaley for their reception. The couple was introduced out on the dance floor, which was actually a pool, for their first dance. After a brief first dance, their children joined in and helped them finish the song. Everyone kept mentioning how unique the space was. I mean, it's not everyday you get to party on top of a swimming pool. The big windows brought in so much beautiful light, it really was a photographers dream.

Jamie and Larry's wedding cake was a stunning Ally & Eloise cake, it must of been delicious, because it went quick! Capital City Catering provided the delicious food stations, which were also a hit. I mean you can't go wrong with a taco bar and candied bacon. Melanie Murphy and her team did a fabulous job, as always. Every detail was perfect. Carolina Blossoms blew it out of the water with the incredible florals. I'm still obsessing over the pops of color they brought into the space.

Y'all, the band! This was my first time seeing Southside Station Band and they did not disappoint. They had a very Zac Brown feel. They kept everyone up on their feet the entire night. The couple exited the reception at 7:30 and headed out to an after party at Market on Main. I know it was a blast!

Congratulations Jamie and Larry and thank you for letting me be apart of your beautiful day! I can't wait to share the rest of your images with you!
